Anna Peters was born into a family of painters. She was the first German female painter who could make a living selling her paintings. Peters is especially known for her Dutch-style flower paintings. Landscape paintings are also known from her hand. She exhibited in Berlin, Munich, Dresden and Paris. From 1880 member of Berliner Künstlerinnen.
Minor crackles and peelings. A few retouches along edges. The canvas needs tightening. In need of cleaning.
