German winter landscape with huntsmen in front of a castle. Signed and dated F. Sødring 1840 and indistinctly inscribed. Oil on paper laid on canvas laid on panel. 45×62 cm.
Bulging paper and canvas/loosely mounted on the panel. In need of cleaning. A few peelings/minor areas with paperloss. A few tears in the paper, one larger at the upper right corner. Minor retouches, some visible to the naked eye.
