A collection of Cypriot terracotta votive figures, fragmented, comprising of three chariot riding men, three horse heads, a rider on a horse with remains of colour, a warrior with tubular body and shield on his back, scant remains of colour, and a terracotta fist. All mounted. Archaic Period 700–475 BC. H. c. 7–19 cm. (10)

Included a collection of literature comprising a selection of archaeological reports, site guides and a guide to the Cyprus Museum, 3. ed. 1961. (27)

Provenance: According to information from the collection of professor Dr Med Albert Fischer, 1891–1956. Founder and director of the Carlsberg Foundation biological institute, Copenhagen, 1932–1956. Albert Fischer acquired antiquities during his travels in the 1930s-1950s. The collection thence passed down in the family and more pieces were collected in the 1960s.
