Some leaves loose in the last part. Bound in a cont. Dutch panelstamped binding, signed “IB” [Jacob Bathen]. Binding restored. Housed in box (FP)

Example of an Dutch panel-stamped binding with Spes, the Roman goddess of hope. This type of binding are normally attributed to two bookbinders from Louvin with the initials “IP ”and “IB ” (this is IB).
