A signed Kirman Lavar figural rug, Persia. Depiction of King Hoshang Shah seated on the throne surrounded by advisors, servants, guards and devils. King Houshang, an early hero king who with the help of the gods vanquished demons or false gods, in this example symbolized with two sitting demons, one on each side of the king.
