A Danish Rococo silver coffee pot, of oval spiral-fluted baluster form, hinged and domed cover with bird finial, curved chased fantasy fish spout, raised on three cabriole animal supports with claws, cast with acorn and foliage above, scroll foliated black wood handle, bottom pricked with statement of weight “32 lod 2 1/2 qtn”. Maker Arved Hansen, Copenhagen 1766. Weight (incl. handle) 518 g. H. 24 cm.

Condition
Minor wear due to age and use, including few marks and scratches plus the pot's left, front leg a big wry.
