Thorvald Bindesbøll (b. Copenhagen 1846, d. s.p. 1908)

An Arts and Crafts earthenware vase modelled with fastened base and incised relief decor. Modelled with wavy mouth and edge. Decorated with slightly metallic, olive green glaze. Signed monogram, 4–12, 1900 on the side of the vase. Unique. H. 12,5 cm. Diam. 25 cm.

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks.
