Kaare Klint (b. Frederiksberg 1888, d. Copenhagen 1954)
Freestanding three seater sofa on eight-legged, profiled mahogany cross-frame with Brazilian rosewood shoes. Sides, seat and back upholstered with patinated cognac coloured leather, fitted with brass nails. Model 4118. Designed 1930. This example made circa 1950–60s by Rud. Rasmussen Cabinetmakers, with maker's paper label. L. 200 cm.
