Provenance: The portrait has been in the family of the sitter until today. In 1856 the portrayed married 1856 Poul Christian Stemann Rosenørn (1824–1902).
The canvas is relined. Crackles and a mark along the stretcher. Minor retouches. In need of cleaning.
