Proveniens: Patriark Alexei I af Moskva og alle russere (1877–1970), der 1950–1970 forærede Alf Vilhelm Jensen russiske ikoner, sølv m.m. Alf Vilhelm Jensen (f. Blair, Nebraska 1909, d. Ebeltoft 1998), provst i Rougsø-Sønderhald-Midt Djurs, havde stor interesse i at samarbejde med den russisk-ortodoxe kirke i Rusland og Østeuropa, bl. a. som oversætter af religiøse skrifter. Dermed fik han et samarbejde med Patriark Alexei I, som han besøgte flere gange i Rusland. Herefter Alf Vilhelms Jensens efterkommere til idag.
