Brazilian rosewood “Egg“ table and a set of four matching “Ant” chairs. Three-legged tubular steel frames. Model 3603 and 3100. Designed 1952. These examples manufactured 1950–1960s by Fritz Hansen, chairs stamped. Table: H. 69.5 cm. W. 84 cm. L. 114.5 cm. (5)

Condition

Slight difference in shade between chairs and table, the table more golden, the chairs somewhat faded due to sunlight exposure. Black “shoes” dry, somewhat “disfigured” and with cracks. Table lacquered, but with surface scratches and some marks. Frame with wear / surface peelings. Chairs with extensive patina including stains, blotches and dirt. Scratches and marks. Few cracks and minor chips. Two chairs with extensive peelings in chromed surface. One chair with surface rust on frame underneath seat.

Items that are made of Brazilian rosewood or contain parts of it, require a CITES export permit in order to be exported from Denmark to a country outside The European Union. Buyers residing outside the European Union are required to obtain this permit.
