Savvy Studio is a design and branding practice based in New York and Mexico City. The studio’s core practice is based on research and exploration of culture – inspired by art, history and materiality – creating each project in a deeply contemplative manner.

The Proletariat bench is a physical provocation of concept. A universal form that exists in many countries and cultures, from farmyards to city parks - this simple construction of matter, created through instinct, is inherently unclaimable. Irony underpins the Proletariat bench, the common man’s furniture piece made with the scraps of a luxury material

The chosen charity, Granja Hogar, is a Chihuahuan institution established over 60 years ago that offers a home and a dignified life to children and adolescents in situations of vulnerability and extreme poverty. Granja Hogar provides an opportunity for young people to improve their lives—through education, but also by offering a roof where they can feel cared for and protected.
