A folding book, or parabaik, Mandalay, consists of 30 folios; the first 12 a procession and transport of an important Buddha statue, the last 20 an account of the life of Buddha's physician till he meets the great master. Watercolour on paper, leather bindings. Approx. 55×20 cm
