An allegorical Meissen porcelain figure group decorated in colours and gold with two putti playing with a large mask, and a lurking cat pans on catching the bird in the cage. Marcolini's mark, Germany 1774–1813. H. 14.5 cm.

Designed by sculptor and modeler Johann Carl Schönheit, 1730–1805.

the putto to the right his left arm from schoulder repaired and repainted, gold bottom rim has been repainted, and the yellow sash has been repaired. The putto to the left repaired leg from knee
