China, Chi'ing Dynasty, 1644–1911, 500 Cash Year 4 (1854), Pick A1b, S/M#T6, the condition obviously varies, but many are quite nice, and varieties abound - a very interesting and excessively rare original bundle of 50 circulated notes closed with the usual spindle, top note sealed. (50)

Provenance: Renowned Danish collector and engineer Sophus Black (1882–1960), who was stationed in China from 1902 to 1931.
