A fine nickel plated engraved Colt SAA pattern 1873 with ivory grips number 238550 in calibre 45 with a 5 1/4 inch long barrel marked COLT'S PTFA MEG C0 HARTFORD CT USA in one line on the top and PAT. SEPT. 19.1871. JULY 2. 72. JAN 19. 75 on the left hand side. The major part of the surface is engraved with scroll and on top of the grip is a shield with the initials GV.
