Photographer Ansel Adams and Georgia O'Keeffe had a lifelong friendship that began in 1929 when they met in Taos, New Mexico. The two companions traveled together on several occasions, including a 1938 trip to Yosemite National Park, California, from where the present recording originates.

This is a black-and-white silver gelatin photograph, probably from the 1940s/1950s, which appeaers with a few surface pressure marks and fine surface scratches.
