Russian maker, early 20th century
A Russian cut crystal bowl with silver rim, punched with acanthus leaves, beading and leaf vine. Indistinct maker's mark, 1908–1917, 84 standard. H. 15 cm. Diam. 23.5 cm.
Provenance: Arthur Hansen, who worked for The Great Northern Telegraph Company in Vladivostok in the years around the Russian revolution 1917. Here, he also married the noble lady, Maria Moskvitina, and together they fled to Copenhagen bringing different Russian items. Thence by descents until today.
Minimal wear due to age.
