In the same room was a wall decoration by Frede Christoffersen (“Day and night”, 1956), the removal of which is the subject of conservator Karin Calissendorff's final thesis from the Conservatory School's Department of Monumental Art, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, 2007.

The painting was declared worthy of preservation by the Danish Academy Board.
