Provenance: Bruun Rasmussen auction 497, 1987 no. 35 reproduced. p. 36. Here it was stated that the painting was made in Orto outside Rome, where the little Italian girl was born, and that it has been in the Eegholm family's ownership, since it was made and up to the sale in 1987.
A few retouches. Minor crackles and a few minimal peelings. In need of a light surface cleaning. Areas with overcleaning.
