On the reverse a letter from the artist to Meldahl. "12. Juni 74. Hr. Etatraad Meldahl. Today I was asked if, I had sent a letter to you in Klampenborg. This is not the case, and it occurred to me, that I owed you a receipt for the received amount of 100 kr., which I hereby send you, at the same time expressing my joy, that my sketch of Apollo and Marsyas has earned your approval. The highest regards, Your Const. Hansen (in Danish).
