A rarely offered stoneware vase modelled with stylized fruits and leaves. Decorated with Sung glaze with underglaze paint. Signed Salto, 21381. Made 1958. Royal Copenhagen. Designed 1956. H. 36.5 cm. Diam. max. 27 cm.
Provenance: The private collection of Supreme Court lawyer Mr. Poul Jacobsen (b. 1889, d. 1973). Member of The Danish law council 1927–1937, board member at Novo Terapeutisk Laboratorium A/S, the Novo Foundation, Skandinavisk Emballage A/S, A/S Brødrene Hartmann, a.o. Hence by descent in the family.
