Arthur “Addie” Køpcke (1928–1977) was a German-Danish Fluxus artist born in Hamburg. In 1953, Köpcke moved to Copenhagen where he in 1958 opened his first gallery. He introduced many foreign artists, here especially from the groups Le Nouveau Réalisme and Fluxus. Among the artists Köpcke exhibited, were names like Piero Manzoni, Daniel Spoerri and Niki de Saint-Phalle.
