A German silver-gilt and embossed snuff box, of bombé and spiral-fluted form, domed and hinged lid, opener cast with shell ornamentation, lobed base. Maker Johann Georg Sack, Augsburg 1741–1743. Weight 70 g. H. 4.5 cm. L. 6.7 cm.
