A Chinese Qianjiang vase of square form painted with figural scenery, magpie on a blooming branch and a kingfisher amidst lotus flowers, signed Wei Shan Shi (Ren Huanzhang), late 19th century. H. 28 cm.

Condition

A minor chip to the upper rim; small chips along edges. A visible firing defect in the form of crack internally where bottom and sides are joined, from it's manufacture.
