A fine Indo-Persian shield Dhal v 51 cm in diameter with four gilded bosses within a gilded floral decoration and the same type of decoration along the rim. The padded inner lining in faded red velvet decorated with stars is preserved as is the two handles. The two plates for a Char Aina suit of amour has a raised cruciform decoration with gild along the edges and the padded lining in faded red velvet is preserved. C 20×27 cm.

Condition

Allk iron somewhat rust marked with the gilding partly gone. Three buckles damaged on the plates.
