Syntagma anatomicum. Padua: Paolo Frambotto 1647. 2nd ed. 4to. Engraved title page depicting the anatomical theatre at Padua. Annotated by first owner, 1648. Full-page portrait of author + 24 full-page anatomical plates. Preliminary and last leaves with dampstains, title page repaired. Bound in cont. vellum, binding with signs of wear.
In this work Vesling provided an early discussion of the human lymphatic system.
