Work table with teak top, mounted on six sculptural V-shaped cherry legs. Designed 1954. This example made 1954 by cabinetmaker Erhard Rasmussen. H. 66 cm. L. 190 cm. W. 69 cm.
Provenance: Private Danish collection. Acquired by present owner's parents directly from Erhard Rasmussen approx. 1954.
Similar, longer model with eight legs exhibited at the Cabinetmakers Guild 400th anniversary exhibition at Forum, 1954.
In 1954 Børge Mogensen went back to his table from the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition in 1949. He re-used the V-shaped legs but modified the top into a rectangular solid teak top. Just as with the table from 1949 it was never produced in large quantities.
