A cottage on the moor near Skagen. Signed and dated Anna Ancher September 1888 and dedicated to “Til Frøken Splid”. Oil on canvas. 29×32 cm.
The dedication is to the seamstress Birgithe Marie Spliid (1820–1902) also called aunt Gitte.
