A pair of nutwood side tables. Top with raw glass inlay. Made 1936 by cabinetmaker H. M. Birkedal Hansen & Søn. H. 56 cm. Diam. 50 cm. (2)
According to seller thge tables were made to order in 1936 by Tove Reddersen, Tove Kindt-Larsens maiden name before marrying Edvard Kindt-Larsen. Very similar model exhibited at the Cabinetmakers' Exhibition 1936. Literature: Grete Jalk [ed.]: “40 Years of Danish Furniture Design”, vol. 1, p. 235.
Condition
Overall good original patinated condition. Minor scratches, marks and notches. Glass tops with some mat areas.
