A small Chinese archaistic ritual bronze vessel, a “you”, cast with taotie masks, handle ending in beasty heads. Qing 1644–1912. Weight 527 g. H. excl. handle 11 cm.
Provenance: From a Danish family settled in Shanghai from 1922 to 1946. Thence passed down in the family.
