A pair of portraits of Prince Albert of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg (1863–1948) and his wife, Princess Ortrud of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg (1879–1918). Signed and dated Erich Sellin 08. Pastel, gouache and pencil on paper. Visible size each 70×49 cm. (2).
Prince Albert of Glücksburg (1863–1948) was son of Duke Friedrich and Duchess Adelheid of Glücksburg. He was married i 1906 to Countess Ortrud of Ysenburg and Büdingen (1879–1918). The present portraits are painted in connection to their wedding. They became grandparents of the below mentioned sisters:
