A Belle Époque diamond and enamel brooch in the shape of a bow with a detachable pendant set with blue and black enamel and numerous old-cut diamonds, mounted in gold and silver. L. app. 5.5×4.5 cm. Circa 1900.

Provenance: A present from Princess Wedel of Alsace-Lorraine to the present owner's family in 1907, hence in the ownership of the family. Princess Stephanie von Wedel was the daughter of count Jacob Essen Hamilton and married in 1894 the German general and ambasador to Sweden Prince Karl von Wedel. Accompanied by the orginal case.
