A Danish Baroque silver beaker, slightly tapering form, snakeskin and profiled body, gilded rim with engraved inscription below, presumably “Johan J. Ohlsen [...] Jugeborg [... ...] 1670” and later engraved O. Olsen. Maker Carsten Lauridsen, Copenhagen 1660. Weight 56 g. H. 5.5 cm.
Condition
Minor patina related to age and use, including small surface scratches and marks, a repaired crack, and a repair to the rim.
