“Flag Halyard Chair”. Easy chair with original white lacquered steel frame and black rubber “shoes”. Chromed steel top with flag halyard. Later headrest upholstered with brown leather, white sheepskin included. Model GE 225. Designed 1950. This example manufactured 1960s by Getama.
Provenance: Acquired by the present owner in 1968.
The model was presented at The Arts & Crafts Spring Exhibition at Designmuseum Danmark in 1950.
