The painting is the artist's own repetition of a painting that was exhibited at Charlottenborg in 1856, and which is today located at the National Gallery of Denmark (Inv. No. KMS740).
Crackles. Some minor peelings at the edges. A few small pressure mark with minimal peeling at the lower edge. Slight colour difference along the edges, presumably the artist's enlargement of the motif. One small retouch. A cleaning is recommended.
