Jacob Kjær (b. 1896, d. 1957)
A pair of unusual cubic ottomans, base veneered with Brazilian rosewood. Upholstered with white sheepskin. These examples made approx. 1940–45 by cabinetmaker Jacob Kjær. H. 46 cm. W./D. 50 cm. (2)
Recently reupholstered, one seat with slightly different sheepskin-type (structure and colour). Base with surface scratches, marks and chips in veneer.
Items that are made of Brazilian rosewood or contain parts of it, require a CITES export permit in order to be exported from Denmark to a country outside The European Union. Buyers residing outside the European Union are required to obtain this permit.
