A fine signed Japanese Katana with a 28 1/4 inch (72 cm.) long Shinogi Zukuri shaped bright blade with a clear toran shaped Hamon line and a square cut tang tip. The Kashira and Fuchi is decorated with a finely executed golden dragon on a black background. The iron Tsuba is Mokko Gata shaped, gilded on the edges and decorated with a meander in red lacquer and silver. The scabbard with no Kozuka is in reddish-brown lacquer simulating the bark of a tree.
