A Japanese Wakizashi with a blade of naginate naoshi type - most probably early Edo with an unsigned tang with two holes and a c 50.5 cm long blade in a mother of pearl laquered scabbard. Sukashi tsuba in iron with flowers in brass, Fuchi and kashira in copper decorated with persona, animals and flowers. On the Kashira Tekkai? Menuki in good quality in the shape of bird on a branch.
