An English longcase clock in a black-painted wooden case decorated with gold chinoiserie, brass dial, openwork corner ornamentation, plaque signed 'John Parsons, London', movement with minute and date disposal. 18th century. H. 256 cm. W. 52 cm. D. 26 cm.

No guarantee of the function of the clock work. The movement is in need of cleaning. Wear due to age and use. The case is worn and slightly damp-damaged. Pendulum and two weights are enclosed. The bell is broken and comes loose.
