A heavy Japanese short Tanegashima matchlock gun with a recent stock. The lock plate is in sheet brass, the barrel with a flat back is c 69,5 cm long in calibre c 18,5 cm with a cannon muzzle. The barrel has a Tokugawa Mon and is decorated with a God figur with gilded dress in a landscape.

Condition

The stock recent, the lock mechanically defect, the pancover is missing and the barrel i dark and somewhat rust marked.
