Stop watch for parachute jumpers in the Danish Air Force “Flyvevåbnet”. Single pusher chronograph movement with manual winding, cal. 5000. Black dial with tritium-coated hour markers and hands. Ø 50 mm. Engraving on the caseback: AI 2011-LEM-5000–5-1. 1940s.
This stop watch was used to time the intervals between the jumps to make sure, that the parachute jumpers would have enough space between each other. It is rare to find watches from the Danish Air Force - much more rare than those from the RAF and the Luftwaffe.
