A Chinese Guanyin cast iron head, set hair adorned with Amitabha, the face with serene expression and downcast eyes. Ming 1368–1644. H. 59 cm. Wooden stand incl. and pylon shaped stand H. 43 cm.

Provenance: Leon Stanley Klerk stationed in China c. 1919–1930 for the Great Northern Telegraph Company. Hence decendants.
