Flemming Stoltze (, 20th century)
Circular Brazilian rosewood dining table with profiled T-shaped legs. Top with extension and five matching leaves with rail and four support legs. Ebony and maple inlays, ebony “shoes”. This example made late 1930s by cabinetmaker Flemming Stoltze. H. 76 cm. Diam. 120 cm. Leaves each: W. 60 cm. L. max. 420 cm.
Provenance: Present table was Flemming Stoltze's graduating test piece and earned him a silver medal. He was probably the designer of this table model as well.
