In 1892 Peder Mønsted, was invited to Athens by the Danish born King Georg I of Greece (1845–1913) The artist travelled to Greece, and onwards to Egypt. Provenance: Bruun Rasmussen auction 1506, 2015 no. 9.

Condition

In need of a surface cleaning. Minimal crackles and a few minimal retouches and in lower corners minimal repairs. A few superficial scratches.
