A French gilt bronze mantel clock, surmounted by Madame de Sévigné at her desk, the base cast with shell and ornamentation, silvered dial with Roman numerals. C. 1840. H. 35 cm.

Suspension thread replaced. Hind legs slightly bent. Wear to dial. Pendulum and key is enclosed. We do not guarantee for the functionality. Minor wear due to age and use.
