A Japanese bronze figure-group of a fisherman with basket on his back and a bird on the top, his left arm holding a paddle. Beside him a child with basket and a turtle stretched out in the left hand. The robes decorated with flower-mon. Meiji 1868–1912. Base of hardwood. Figures 29 cm. and 18 cm. Plateau L. 29 cm. W. 21 cm.

Paddle lacking patination and repaired. The bird repaired and loose. The turtle's tail missing. Later wooden base with cracks.
