A South Jutland silver “hovedvandsæg” vinaigrette adorned with 12 red and green glass stones and medaillon, of hexagonal vase shape, gilt interior. The balm hide indistinctly pricked LL 1814. Maker Carl Friedrich Georg Wohlberg, Flensburg b. 1768–1835. Weight 73 g. H. 10.5 cm.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Glass stones with a few minimal chips. One handle glass stones missing part of the silver mount. Balm hide hinge-nail sticking out.
