Arne Hovmand-Olsen (b. 1919, d. 1989)

A set of ten teak chairs, comprising eight side chairs and a pair of armchairs. Seat and back upholstered with grey felt wool. Brass fittings. These examples manufactured 1950s for Jutex, Aarhus. (10)

Extensively restored. Re-upholstered and upholstery with no remarks. Frames with several repairs, hairline cracks and traces of wood filler (the latter especially to cover screws/missing dowels). Few repaired breaks and stretchers replaced with new ones. Minor chips.
