Lower Manhattan in New York City is the area south of 14th Street and consists of diverse neighborhoods including Greenwich Village, Tribeca, Chinatown and the bustling financial district. The World Trade Center and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum are also located in this part of the city. Brooklyn Bridge opened on May 24, 1883.
